Koops Company Bio
In 1988, Woodworks, Inc. was founded, with the originator working out of his truck.
Establishing contractor relationships and marketing his services as a competent caseworks builder,
his business grew and he was recognized as a quality provider of custom cabinets and caseworks
mostly serving schools, healthcare and government markets.
The Koops family purchased the business in 2006, after the retirement of the founder.
Business for the new management grew quickly which caused a need to expand so, in 2006, it moved
to the 24,000 sq.ft location which is the current base of operations. This building houses their
top-of-the-line computer controlled equipment used for the manufacture of commercial
and residential product lines and also allows for high volume production while adhering to strict quality
guidelines. In 2009, Koops Woodworks took over manufacturing for Prestige Closets, LLC customer base.
In 2010, Koops Woodworks, LLC obtained the rights to be the exclusive supplier to the south east of
The Original Murphy Bed brand Murphy Bed Systems. The Koops family has over 50 years of related
experience in the industry.
